How to identify and avoid common electrical hazards
Identify how electrical shocks cause injuries and death
Legal requirements for inspection and equipment approvals
Managing safety, reporting serious electrical incidents
Managing hazards, effects of electrical shock and arc flash
Ontario Electrical Safety Code requirements
Please note: this is not a hands-on course; only basic note-taking supplies are needed. A written test will be administered at the end of this course. Participants must pass this test in order to receive their Certificate of Training.

This course, designed and taught by the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) gives participants an understanding of the hazards of electric shock, basic Ontario Electrical Safety Code rules and electrical product approval requirements.
