St. John Ambulance:
Standard First Aid CPR C + AED
ONGOING
NABET has partnered with St. John's Ambulance to make it more convenient for you to get your CPR & First Aid certification.
This course is for individuals who require more comprehensive information on first aid and CPR for the workplace or personal interest reasons. This interactive program includes CPR training for adults, infants and children, as well as 2-person CPR life-saving techniques that are uncomplicated and easy to learn. When coupled with an automated external defibrillator (AED), CPR dramatically increases the chances of survival from heart attacks.
Knowing CPR means you have learned a vital link in the Chain of Survival™ for casualties of drowning, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest until full care can be provided in a hospital.
There are now 2 options available to complete your First Aid Training. Choose between:
2-Day In-Class Training Option – an intensive in-person course at the SJA location of your choice.
Blended Learning Option – from the comfort of your own home, participants can complete all the theory online aided by interactive tutorials, enhanced graphics and animations, and then test their knowledge against a series of online quizzes. The theory portion is made up of 18 modules in total. Each module takes around 30-45mins to complete. Once the online portion has been successfully completed, participants must complete the practical component with the assistance of their local St. John Ambulance branch to receive their certificate. The practical portion consists of an intensive 1-day in class training session (8 – 8.5 hrs). Please note the practical portion must be completed within 90 days of the date the individual finishes their online modules in order to receive the Standard First Aid CPR C + AED Certification.
For either option, you can register and receive your certification in these easy steps:
Use the links above to search by location and training date. (Do not checkout on the SJA website).
Call NABET 700-M office to pay your registration fee of $80 (Members) / $105 (Permittees).
