GrandMA2 Basics Workshop

This workshop will provide you with a basic understanding of GrandMA2 and how it operates in film, and be able to pursue more in-depth GrandMA training and will cover the following topics:
Intro to DMX and Universes
Patching in a light
Attributes and encoders
Pools and Pre-sets
Storing views
Universal vs Global vs Selective
Sequences and cues
Tracking vs cue-only
Fade times, MIB, loops
Networking, IP addresses, sessions and protocols
switches, nodes and wireless transmitters
Users, global settings, tips and trick
Participants MUST bring a laptop or tablet to the workshop with the free GrandMA2 software downloaded on it. The link to the software will be provided after registration at the workshop.
Please note: This is an introductory workshop. It does not qualify participants as Certified Board Operators.
