This workshop requires the use of self-propelled mobile lifts.
The Rigging Level 2 exercises are as follows:
Brief overview of basic safe rigging principles, theory and practice
Build counterweight manual fly system
Install 12x12 grid pipe
Knot work on 12x12 silk frame
Suspend flying ceiling piece
De-rig

Gary MacLeod (B.F.A., ETCP Certified Rigger, W.H.S.C. Certified Instructor) has 40 plus years of experience in the Entertainment Industry working as a studio consultant, supervising staging and aerial rigger, designer, props maker, sculptor, painter, stagehand, and grip. Conducting training workshops since 1999, some clients include CBC, NABET 700-M UNIFOR, William F. White, Sheridan, Niagara and Humber Colleges.
Participants must have a Valid Aerial Lift ticket (Proof required), safety boots, safety harness, and hand tools/kit (crescent wrench, work gloves, ear and eye protection, hard hat, pliers, knife)

Payment is required up front. There are no holds or reservations. Payments are processed by phone Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with VISA, VISA Debit, MasterCard, and AmEX. In this workshop, participants will take the basic principles, practices and theories taught in Rigging Level 1 and apply them to hands-on projects. Working in small teams, participants will find safe overhead lifting solutions to common on-set rigging problems.
